Management of Public Education in the Ventanilla district against COVID-19

Abstract
This research addresses the analysis of educational management in schools in the jurisdiction of the Ventanilla district, in circumstances in which the country faces a pandemic such as COVID-19.
The objective of the study is to analyze the consequences of COVID-19 in the educational management of the schools of Ventanilla, 2020.
The method used is the qualitative one, in a basic research and from an epistemological-phenomenological approach, with a descriptive design. For this, descriptive observation, in-depth interview and documentary research were used as field tools.
Results. The participants, manifested the socioeconomic gaps and the lack of technologies in the material aspect as in the application have highly impaired learning.
Conclution. In addition to the existing weaknesses in the education system, those generated by COVID - 19, according to opinions and reports of the teachers interviewed, 60% of the
students failed to meet the minimum learning commitments, not only due to the digital divide that is clear evidence of the manifestation of economic resources but
also because of the importance of the social role that the school plays in student learning, harming students with special abilities in a singular way.
