With a methodology based on the systematic review of scientific articles, a quantitative-retrospective approach, a non-experimental, cross-sectional bibliometric design. To this end, scientific articles directly related to the variable under study were analyzed in journals registered in high-impact databases; information acquired through advanced search, using Boolean operators such as AND and OR, as well as inclusion and exclusion criteria, finally obtaining 25 scientific articles as a sample. The results reveal that, in a higher percentage, the use of virtual environments is accepted in the evaluation of university learning. Concluding that teachers and students are satisfied, considering virtual environments as an adequate and acceptable methodological alternative, when meeting the objectives set in the monitoring, evaluation and co-evaluation of learning, raising the quality of university teaching.
