Contributions Of Service Learning In University Training

Abstract
The present article "Contributions of Service Learning in University Training", has the general
objective of analyzing the research published during the last decade on the contributions of service learning in university professional training. A search for scientific articles was carried out in the Redalyc, Scielo and Scopus databases. As selection criterion, the investigations that present results of interventions implemented with the Service-Learning methodology and the contributions of these were considered; articles where students are specifically in university vocational training. The articles that were selected have been organized in tables for the purpose of this study. It stands out as a result that this methodology is being developed, especially at the university level; It has also been included in the study plans at different universities worldwide. Finally, it is concluded that the service-learning methodology has significant contributions in the development of students in professional training, emphasizing that in addition to developing capacities, it also contributes other skills related to their integral development, interaction and social commitment with their environment.
