Stress in university students in the context of a pandemic.

Abstract
A bibliographic review of research articles was carried out, with the aim of knowing the reasons and characterizing stress in university students in the context of a Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords from the UNESCO Thesaurus were used to search Scopus, EBSCO, EBSCOhost, Scielo, Redalyc, Latindex, Taylor & Francis, Mendeley, university repositories, academic Google and the ranking of SCImago journals. A mixed analysis of the articles published in indexed journals in recent years was carried out and the findings were presented through tables. It was concluded that university students experience academic stress, associated with psychological, physiological and mental health disorders, such as fear, sadness, loneliness, depression, sleep disorders, digestive and sexual disorders, the causes are the low ability to adapt to situations high level of stress, the overload of remote work, academic aspects, confinement and distancing due to COVID-19, which generated fear and a break in daily habits.
