Fractura compleja de humero distal, abordaje terapéutico: reporte de caso clínico

Abstract
Las fracturas articulares complejas del húmero distal comprenden un grupo de lesiones que cuyo tratamiento quirúrgico implica un desafío para el traumatólogo debido a la alta tasa de resultados funcionales pobres. El objetivo de este estudio es reportar una fractura de humero distal compleja tipo C3 de la clasificación de la AO. El interés de este caso es reportar el abordaje terapéutico inicial y definitivo de este tipo de fracturas y los resultados funcionales a corto plazo. Se realizó el análisis documental del registro clínico de un paciente ingresado en el Hospital General del Norte de Guayaquil Los Ceibos que recibió tratamiento quirúrgico durante el periodo de septiembre a octubre del 2019.
